Youth is justice and vigour. Vigour is stimulated by martial arts. Thus, if karate is practiced regularly, it will polish the character and help to uphold justice.

"An ordinary person will draw his sword when ridiculed and will fight risking his life, but he may not be called a courageous person. A truly conscious man is not disturbed even when he is suddenly confronted by others" Here comes the importance of karate as it develops traits of humility, self-control and intelligence.

Karate as Self Defence

To protect one-self, one must find a method that will give the weak the power to defend himself against strong opponents. By learning karate, the old or sick men or women can protect one self effectively even with some material strength. Therefore, karate is a form of self-defence.
